Gothic Paint

SUMMARY OF MONDAY

On Monday lessons we do a introduction to the new unit, that is literature we talk about all the types of literature gothic, romantic,etc…We go deep on the gothic literature we saw a pictures of gothicism and we have to give interpretasions of the pictures, the most common patern in the photos was the castles, grey colours, angels, etc...

Elements of Gothic fiction,old houses, mystery, ghostly legends, omens, supernatural events, romantic themes that involve the dead of a man or woman throes of a great passion.

Duality in Gothic literature, examples:good/evil, innocence/guilt, light/dark, living/dead, natural/unnatural.

I think that the class that we do on monday we will help to understand beter the reading that we have to do later(Frankenstein), because is a gothic terror history and Mary Shelley use many of the concepts  to construct this book.

English Assingment "Decline and Fall"

Dear Arthur,
        Im so glad you send me thar letter, i like so much that someone understand me and my situation. About the money that Trumpington send to me , dont you think that is a strange way to apology with someone, i dont know if i take it or not. Well my experience as a teacher had been like a double-edged sword because i have meet interesting and funny people but, is to much work to do taking control of the kids and doing classes is so difficult the boys never keep quiet.

English lesson 3

Third week at English Lessons

The week of March 26th we do a lisstening test about body language, and do a very fun activity, his purpose was to us to do body language and in the activity we have to do a mini debate about different themes, it was a very difficult activity because we have to defend that and they only give us seconds to do it. We also continue with the readin "Decline and Fall", now we have to read chapter 3 and 4 in a very short summary it was about the problems of dicipline in the Llanabba school and the sport day that was a very importat day at the school but all the years was a failure, this year was not the exception.

English lesson 2

Second week at English Lessons

The week of March 19th we continued on the debate about language.

We also start reading the book "Decline and a Fall", the autor of this satire is Arthur Evelyn St John Waugh known as (Evelyn Waugh), he was born in London at 1903 and died in Somerset at 1966. We have to read chapter 1 and 2 that were, Paul at Oxford and Llanabba castle school this two chapters were about when he is expulsed of Oxford because of running without trousers and when he arrived at Llanaba castle school.
